To develop a taste for music at an early age and to foster a deeper appreciation for the art form.
Objectives:
To introduce attendees to a variety of musical genres, including Indian and global. To encourage attendees to actively listen to music and develop their own musical taste and preferences.
Format:
The session will be conducted as a group activity with audio/visual aids. It will be divided into the following segments:
Prayer: A constant song of the session that hooks the children for next 40 minutes
Upbeat Song: An energy-packed song to stimulate the “feel-good” hormones
Season Playlist: A pack of a variety of songs to passively discover elements of music, such as rhythm, melody, mood and genre.
Musical Game/ Movement Song: Participants will be encouraged to participate in an activity based on basic rhythm of the music
Rest Song: A wind-down, calming song to relax
Wrap-up Song: The session will end with a wrap-up song to leave the effect of the musical session on the children
